Rescheduled FAFSA Night due to SNOW Day
Due to SNOW and continued hazardous conditions, our upcoming FAFSA night has been rescheduled....
Seniors and senior parents, do you need help finishing the FAFSA? The FAFSA can seem scary, especially if it is your first time filling it out - having financial aid experts available on-site to help makes it easy! Drop by the Catawba County Schools Central Office on our RESCHEDULED DATE--Thursday February 26, between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and get the assistance you need!
You will need to bring the following:
Your chromebook
Your Social Security number, if you have one
Your parents' Social Security numbers if you are a dependent student
When completing the FAFSA form, you and your contributors must provide consent and approval to have federal tax information transferred directly from the IRS into your form. Please note: you will not be eligible for Federal Student Aid if consent and approval are not provided.
It's also good to gather other important documents and information, just in case you need to enter any information manually.
This may include tax returns, records of child support received, current balances of cash, savings, and checking accounts, net worth of investments, businesses, and farms, plus the name, date of birth, Social Security number, and email addresses for each contributor.
CCS School Counselors, as well as representatives from CVCC, Appalachian State, and Lenoir-Rhyne, will be on hand to help.
