NEWTON, October 14, 2025 – Catawba County Board of Education will hold a special-called meeting
at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2025, at the Catawba County Schools Center for Administrative
Services (2285 N. Anderson Avenue, Newton, North Carolina). The meeting will be held in the boardroom.
The purpose of the special-called meeting is to adopt a resolution to keep students in their home school
district by protecting and maintaining Catawba County Schools’ current legal and geographical
boundaries.
