School Visits

NEWTON, September 4, 2025 –Catawba County Board of Education members will visit schools and
district facilities on September 11, 2025.
No business, action, or public comments will be conducted.
The purpose of these visits is a tour led by the principal or director at each location. Tours will last
approximately 20-30 minutes per location.
Below is a tentative schedule of arrival times.
8:10 a.m. Central Office - Glenn E. Barger Building
9:00 a.m. Blackburn Elementary School
10:00 a.m. Jacobs Fork Middle School
11:00 a.m. Maiden Elementary School
12:40 p.m. Central Office - Transportation Department (Bus Garage)
1:20 p.m. Tours conclude
