Regular Meeting

6:00 p.m.
NEWTON, June 1, 2026 – Catawba County Board of Education will hold a regular meeting on
Monday, June 8, 2026, at the Catawba County Schools Center for Administrative Services (2285
North Anderson Avenue, Newton, North Carolina). The meeting will be held in the boardroom
beginning at 6:00 p.m.
To ensure everyone’s safety, the regular meeting is subject to a 60-seat public occupancy cap. No
standing will be allowed in the boardroom during the meeting or public hearing. Catawba County
Board of Education offers live streaming of regular meetings. Please join by using this LIVE STREAM LINK.
An opportunity for public comment will be held at the next regular meeting on June 22, 2026.
A copy of the agenda with public access to meeting documentation is available on the Catawba
County Schools website under “School Board” or via the following link. Any pending documentation
will be posted before the meeting.
