The BHHS FFA Hunter Safety Program was recently awarded a 2016 Grant from the NRA Foundation in the amount of $1371.98. The grant was used in upgrading shotguns for skeet practice and competition and the purchase of ammunition for the Bunker Hill FFA Hunter Safety Program. The Bunker Hill FFA Safety Team competes in District 8 of the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Hunter Safety Skill Contest. The skills include rifle safety and marksmanship, Clay skeet shooting, Archery, hunter safety skills and orienteering.
