Also, we're gearing up for the Banoak Fall Festival on Saturday, September 28th. We have an abundance of activities planned for our students and hope to see everyone there. Please check out details on our social media links.
Lastly, we've had several illnesses with our students since last week. We plan to do a thorough cleaning in the classrooms, but ask that you speak to your child about washing their hands often. We also ask that you please keep students home until they are 24 hours symptom free when sick.
InfoSnap & Free and Reduced Lunch Forms
I'd like to express the need for everyone to complete InfoSnap. For those who haven't completed the process you're getting emails/letters almost daily. Please check your spam folder for this information and have it completed. There are important forms in the registration process, such as COPPA and AUP, that allow your child to access technology at school. Without these permissions, your child cannot use a computer.
Also, please consider looking at the CCS website for applying for free and reduced lunch forms. We have several student who are accumulating a lot of lunch debt early on. We also have paper forms in the office.
Thank you for your time, and we look forward to seeing our Chargers in the morning!

Catawba County Schools is excited to announce that we are expanding the mental health services that are available for our students. Beginning in the 2017 – 2018 school year, we will contract with Support, Inc. to provide School Based Therapy in all of our schools. Without ever having to leave the school campus, your child can work confidentially with an individual therapist on issues impacting their lives. Support, Inc. can begin the referral process for your child this summer and provide services without delay when school starts back. If your child has previously received school-based therapy services from another provider, you can transfer your services to Support, Inc. this summer as well. Please contact Maria Ballard, Director of Student Services, if you would like additional information or if you have any questions.
