Dual Language Immersion

Our youngest students’ adventure starts with either the Traditional Pathway OR the Spanish Immersion Pathway where students learn all the NC Standards... just in Spanish! We offer Spanish Immersion beginning in Kindergarten at 4 elementary schools.

Education Foundation

The Education Foundation for Catawba County Schools is helping to make education better by improving student success by investing in our teachers. We are fortunate to be the sole beneficiary of the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Since 2018, the Ed Foundation has invested over $60,000 in our teachers and future teachers through college scholarships, innovation grants, and more.

Dual Language Immersion Schools

Language immersion programs are an exciting option for parents who want their children to have the advantages of a rigorous academic program while also learning two languages – English and a target language. In a Spanish immersion program, Spanish is not taught as a subject; Spanish is the language in which instruction is delivered.
