Welcome

This semester we will strive to gain a greater understanding of Literature. The Eng IV students will focus on British Literature while the Eng III students focus on American Literature. In addition, students will sharpen their reading, writing, thinking, and speaking abilities. This course will be both challenging and exciting and will consist of purposeful, connected, and active learning with integrated scaffolding to promote enduring understanding throughout the course.

Daily participation will be the key to succeeding in this course. Classwork, projects, tests, and quizzes will measure the student’s knowledge and understanding in the class. If you, at any time, have questions or your child is having difficulty with this course, please know that I am available after school and at various other times to work with you and your child.
