Our School Counselor provides the following:
Individual Counseling- to assist students dealing with emotional and social issues.
Group Counseling- works with small groups of students with similar/like concerns.
Classroom Guidance-counselor goes into the classroom and works with the entire class to educate the students on specific topics such as educational and career readiness, recognizing and reporting bullying, setting boundaries, etc.
Consultation-collaboration with parents, administrators, teachers, and community agencies.
504 Coordinator-counselor facilitates, coordinates, and develops the 504 Plans.
Parents, school staff, and other adults in the community can help kids prevent bullying by talking about it, building a safe school environment, and creating a community-wide bullying prevention strategy.
