My name is Doug Patterson.  I have lived in Hickory for 10 years.  Appalachian State University is where I attended college and received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education.  My wife is also a teacher.  We have one child, Carson, he is in 7th grade.  Some of my hobbies are board games, disk golf, and video games.  I enjoy teaching Science and Language Arts.
