Bachelor of Science in Special Education minor in Psychology Appalachian State University
My name is Bailey Woody. I am a graduate of Maiden High School and Appalachian State University. I graduated ASU with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and minor in Psychology. I began teaching in the winter of 2003. I spent 11 years teacher Exceptional Children at the high school level and moved to Tuttle in the summer of 2014. I am happily married and I have two girls who both attend Tuttle. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy reading, exercising, and swimming. I have known I wanted to be a teacher since I was in second grade where I was inspired by an amazing teacher. It is my goal to develop students’ awareness of their ability, not their disability. I want to motivate them to find strategies for academic and social success.
