I'm Mr. Bishop and this is my 23rd year at Arndt Middle School and my 29th year of teaching overall.  I grew up in Catawba County, have lived here my entire life, and went through the Newton-Conover School System.  I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Middle Grade Eduation (concentrations: Math and Social Studies) from Appalachian State University as well as a Minor in Computer Science from ASU.  I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and two children, listening to music, and reading the Bible.
