NEWTON, February 12, 2024 --The Catawba County Board of Education Special Called Meeting,
scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024, has been canceled.
Mrs. Michelle Teague (the complainant) has withdrawn her appeal to the Catawba County Board of
Education for a hearing on two challenged books (l8r, g8r by Lauren Myracle and The Carnival at Bray by Jessie Ann Foley).
