Please join us in congratulating our 2023 District Spelling Bee Champion, Brie W., a sixth grader at Mountain View Elementary School. Amid stiff competition, she won this year's event by correctly spelling "subsequent" in the 11th round. Bryce S., a 7th grader from Jacobs Fork Middle School, was the runner-up.
Brie will be representing Catawba County Schools in the Regional Spelling Bee, sponsored by the Carolina Panthers, at Bank of America Stadium on March 5.
The 2023 district spelling bee included 20 participants from our elementary and middle schools. We are proud of our participants...they are all winners!!
