The NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) recently updated the Strong Schools NC Toolkit for COVID-19 protocols. Effective Monday, February 21, 2022, individual contact tracing and exclusion from school of asymptomatic people after an identified exposure is no longer recommended statewide in K-12 schools.
Beginning January 18, 2022, face-coverings will again be mandatory for all staff, students, and visitors while inside our facilities for at least the next week.
The Catawba County Board of Education is holding an emergency BOE meeting on January 14, 2022, at 5:30pm.

Face coverings are optional inside all CCS facilities for all staff, students, and visitors effective 12/7/2021. CCS will participate in the parent choice "Test-to-Stay" Study.
Dr. Stover, superintendent, and Ms. McCracken, Director of Catawba County Public Health, addressed several topics important to all of our families including an update on the health and safety of our staff and students, attendance, academics, remote learning, safely bringing back elementary students into our buildings, and more.
