Catawba County Schools and our community value you and your work. 

Your total compensation includes more than just a salary.  In addition to your base state salary, you also will receive a local supplement.  

Potential total compensation for a first-year teacher:  
Base Salary $37,000
Local Supplement $2,960
Retirement Contributions Made by the District $9,790.20
Health Insurance Premiums Paid by the District $7,397
Total Compensation Package $57,147.20

*This is an estimate based on the 2022-2023 salary schedule and contribution percentages.  Actual salary will be determined upon hire and assignment.
