From the Principal

  • Welcome to Catawba Rosenwald Education Center. We are excited about the 2017-2018 school year and expecting greater all year. At CREC, we are committed to building positive relationships and moving students towards success in all areas of life. It is our goals to not only get students to high school graduation, but to also ensure they are prepared to enter the next phase of life ready for success. It is our goal to create positive learning environments, meet students where they are, and assist them in improving academically, socially, and emotionally. Collaborative relationships with families, developing strong community partnerships, differentiated instruction to meet student needs, and providing a safe and nurturing environment are essential to our core beliefs. Continual improvement is our goal; and we are committed to doing what it takes to keep moving forward. It is our privilege to serve our students, families and community. We are grateful for partnerships and people who work with us on behalf of students. GREATER is what we believe; and GREATER is what we will achieve.
