Mrs. Nancy Suddreth

I have twenty years of experience working with many unique populations of students. During my first seven years here in N.C. I was the English teacher at the Alternative School in Morganton. I believe that program allowed me the skills necessary to be successful teaching anywhere. I have also  worked with the gifted students at Burke Middle College on the Campus of Western Piedmont Community College as well as teaching for five years at a specialized program named The L.E.A.P. Academy, which allowed students to complete two academic years (8th and 9th grades) in one school year. Through my travels and experiences working with a variety of student populations, I have discovered this truth: people are people; whereever you go, all human beings want to learn and feel successful. And although I have had my principal's license for years, I have never had a desire to leave the classroom. I hope to have at least another ten great years of learning and teaching ahead of me.
