     This is my 26th year teaching.  My first three years teaching were at Bunker Hill High School, and I have been at HMA ever since!  I love it here!  I have been happily married for 25 years to my husband, Eric.  My daughter, Samantha, is a sophomore at NC State.  GO WOLFPACK!  My son, Chance, is a 9th grader at St. Stephens High School.  I have taught math in grades 7-12 throughout my career.

     I love sports of all kinds.  I played 4 sports in high school, and love that my children are involved in sports too.  I have done coaching of all sorts in the past, but am only watching my children play sports now.  I enjoy being outside as much as possible.  My husband and I have a garden every summer. Believe it or not your child's math teacher loves to read!!  I actually went to HM Arndt a LONG time ago, and also went to St. Stephens Elementary and St. Stephens High. I am an Appalachian State graduate and attended graduate school at ASU also. I have three pets, a dog named Wilma, and two cats named Pebbles and BamBam.
