In addition to hosting our grandparents, we have several other happenings this week. Monday is Banoak Spirit Night at Cooksville Grill.  Please consider dining with us, and some of the proceeds will be donated back to the school.

On Thursday, our female students will have a presentation from the Girl Scouts.

Friday is Hat Day as part of our TA's Kids in Need fundraiser.  Please consider making a small donation to this great program.  Our 3rd-6th graders will attend the Fred T. Foard homecoming parade Friday morning.  Banoak will host a ground breaking ceremony for our new construction additions at 8:15am on Friday. Feel free to join us!

Please continue to monitor the CCS website and social media outlets for any updates that will affect school.  Should there be a need to change our plans, I will follow up with details later in the week.

I hope everyone has had a safe weekend, and we look forward to seeing you this week!

    Charge Forward. Charge Together!

  • Mental Health Services

Catawba County Schools is excited to announce that we are expanding the mental health services that are available for our students. Beginning in the 2017 – 2018 school year, we will contract with Support, Inc. to provide School Based Therapy in all of our schools. Without ever having to leave the school campus, your child can work confidentially with an individual therapist on issues impacting their lives. Support, Inc. can begin the referral process for your child this summer and provide services without delay when school starts back. If your child has previously received school-based therapy services from another provider, you can transfer your services to Support, Inc. this summer as well. Please contact Maria Ballard, Director of Student Services, if you would like additional information or if you have any questions.
