Monday morning our 6th grade students will be spending their field day at the Hickory YMCA from around 9 am-2 pm.
We will have our final selling for the school year of Chik-Fil-A biscuits Tuesday morning in the car rider line! Please have exact change ready for purchase.
Also on Tuesday we will start with our Olympiad Mile Run starting at 8:30 am. Please drive around to the back of the school to watch your students.
Field Days will be this week starting with K-1st grade Field Day on Tuesday from 11:30 am - 2 pm. 4th-5th grade Field Day will be Wednesday 8:30 am - 11 am and our 2nd- 3rd grade Field Day will also be on Wednesday from 11:30 am - 2 pm.
If you are joining your child for some Field Day fun please do not sign in at the office. Drive around to the back of the school and sign in as your enter on the track area. Please make sure your child wears comfortable clothes, tennis shoes and sunscreen. They should also bring a towel, water bottle and extra change of clothes.
This Thursday will be our 4th QTR Success Celebration. All qualifying students will enjoy inflatables outside.
Friday will be out last day of school along with our End of Year award ceremonies. 3rd-5th grade awards ceremony will be held at 8 am followed by the K-2nd grade ceremony at 10 am. Last but not least, our 6th grade Bridging Ceremony will start promptly at 12:30 pm on Friday.
All students that are being signed out this week will be signed out in their child's classroom by the homeroom teacher. Please do not sign your child out in the office to help things run smoothly. If you have any question regarding this week please let the office or your child's teacher know.
