  • Students should make a 30 – 45 second video answering the question, “How would you tell your friends to be safe when crossing the street”?

The students will submit these short videos directly to us. They can just send them to my iphone, 828-3022727 or email

Safe Kids Catawba County will pick one to submit at the national level. We will have prizes for the top three.  At the national level the winning student(s) will receive a $100 grant ($500 maximum for groups).

From the Principal

Welcome Back to Maiden Middle School!

“We can do anything together if we are willing to: expect the best, reflect on our mistakes, make changes and move forward as a team for the benefit of our students.  So when individuals speak about our school, they smile and say it is the best and here is why…”

Please take the time and call or email if you have questions and concerns as we work to make Maiden Middle School the best school in NC.

    Mr. Brian Hefner
