From the Principal

I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome to Clyde Campbell!  Staff, parents, students, PTO, and the community have been very supportive and welcomed me to the Clyde Campbell Family.  We opened the new cafeteria and the walkway from the old lobby to the gym is now usable, but is still being completed.  Planning meetings are underway to determine how to renovate the old cafeteria into new, usable space to accommodate our ever-growing student population.

The first 5 weeks have flown by!  Students are working hard and have completed or are in the process of completing assessments to determine what skills they are proficient in and what skills they still need to work on.  Teachers should be scheduling conferences in the upcoming weeks to share this information with you.  We invite you to continuously monitor your child's progress through PowerSchool.  If you need assistance with this, please contact the office.

Our school has embraced PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports) throughout the building. All staff members were involved in teaching expectations for key areas throughout the school, including hallways, bathrooms, cafeteria, bus, and classrooms to maintain consistency throughout the building. Through this process, the PBIS Team created school-wide rewards for students who demonstrate the 4 Be's: Be Responsible, Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be a Learner each nine weeks.  The first school-wide PBIS Reward will be at the end of October.

I look forward to the rest of this nine weeks as I continue getting to know students, parents, and community members.  Please visit the PTO page if you are interested in finding ways to be involved at Clyde Campbell.  Remember, October is hassle free fundraiser month and our goal is $10,000.  If students reach this goal, they will SLIME THE PRINCIPALS!  4 days in, they are already at $1,000!  Please consider helping donate in order for them to reach their goal by visiting CCES PTO Fundraiser Page.
