What kind of technology is available at Snow Creek?

Snow Creek will contain all new, state-of-the-art equipment.  There will be 4 computers in every classroom, a 52-inch flat panel TV in every classroom with a Airliner Slate that allows lessons to be shown on the TV, 2 computer labs with 30 computers each, 20 computers in the media center and 15 net books in a mobile lab. The HVAC system will scrub the air to make sure the air is clean and virtually particle/pollutant free.

What does it mean when it says Snow Creek is a “Green School”?

To achieve a “Green School” certification a school must meet a series of standards on the construction, materials used, equipment in the school, etc. Some examples are the recycling of materials during the construction, tankless water heaters, the HVAC system, lighting used, type and amount of carpet and the water run system.  Snow Creek will be very energy efficient.

Snow Creek's attendance guidelines can be found under the For Parents and Students section of this website. They are also printed in the student planner that each student is given on the first day of school.
