|Kings vs. Queens Volleyball || 10/29/2014 7:57 AM|
Each year the SSHS Volleyball team seeks to give back to the community by supporting an individual in need or other worthy cause. This year we have chosen to raise funds to support one of our own, Kilby Davis. Kilby is a 15 year old student who was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease called Danon's Disease on June 1, 2013. Danon's disease is a condition in which the heart muscle hardens causing the heart to work harder thus weakening the heart. This could result in heart failure and premature death. Currently Kilby is on a donor list to find a heart.
The Kings vs. Queens Volleyball game will be held on Nov. 15 at 6pm at St. Stephens High School. There will be concessions, 1/2 and 1/2 tickets and lots of fun. Admission is $5.00 or Students $3.00. ALL proceeds will be donated to the Love for Kilby Fund to help prepare her family for the expense of her new heart.
Each player is expected to raise $40.00 to play. Please consider helping to sponsor a player. If you have any questions please contact Jan Davis at email@example.com
Thank you for your help!
