SkillsUSA Team brings home the Medals!!!  4/17/2014 1:41 PM

Saint Stephens was represented very well at the 49th Leadership and Skills Conference held April 9-11, 2014 at the Greensboro Coliseum.   This was a record-breaking year for SkillsUSA in general and particularly for the SSHS SkillsUSA Team.  Our team started 4 years ago with a single advisor, Andy Owens and 3 students.  Since then it has grown to our current 27 members and 2 advisors.  Statewide over 3,000 students are members of SkillsUSA.  Over 2,000 of them gathered in Greensboro to compete in 110 contests.  We participated in 7 events and we placed in all 7.  Our medal winners are as follows:

  • Architecture:  3rd place Nicole A.
