Purpose:
Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) is a nonprofit educational association of students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. This club provide, as a integral part of the instruction program, opportunities for students to develop vocational and career competencies and to promote civic and personal responsibilities.

Goals:

  • Develop competent, aggressive business leadership
  • Strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work
  • Create more interest in and understanding of American business enterprise
  • Encourage members in the development of individual projects which contribute to the improvement of home, business, and community
  • Develop character, prepare for useful citizenship, and foster patriotism
  • Encourage and practice efficient money management
  • Encourage scholarship and promote school loyalty
  • Assist students in the establishment of occupational goals
  • Facilitate the transition from school to work

     

    Member Eligibility:

    Student must be enrolled either semester in one of the following courses:

    • Digital Communication Systems

    • Computer Applications I

    • Computer Applications I

    • Networking

    • Computer Programming I

    • Computerized Accounting I

    OR

    Have successfully completed 3 business courses during previous years in high school.

     

    Eligibility will be verified by student transcript.
