On Tuesday, March 6, 2012, the Encore Team of River Bend Middle School (Matt Barham, Doug Brady, Doral Catchings, Laura Hildebran, Brittney Jarvis, Mike Laughter, Michael Lee, Albert Reid, Crystal Ritchie, Emily Ruiz, Sylvia Schnople, and Kae Treadway), along with Staci Bumgarner, Media Specialist, received special awards at the North Carolina Middle School Association's annual Conference in Greensboro. The Encore Team was named Team of the Year, and Mrs. Bumgarner was awarded the Support Person of the Year. Congratulations go to these educators for representing River Bend and our School System so well!
