I am so excited to start a new year. It is my 11th year at Oxford!  Eleven years sounds like a long time but it sure has gone by quickly!  I love Oxford and I love teaching.  It is going to be a great year.  Here are some fun facts about me.  

 I am married to Jeremy Wagner and I have two kids, Caroline who is three, and Tate who is 20 months.  I have an older brother and younger sister. I am the middle.

I have three dogs, Addie a Mastiff, Libby an American Bulldog, and Bentley a Boston Terrier.

I went to college at Tennessee for two years and then to Appalachian where I graduated in 2001.  I got my Master's in Reading Education in 2005 and my National Board Certification in 2005.

I LOVE FOOTBALL!

My best friend in the whole world is Mrs. Rink who teaches 2nd grade.

I have met Oprah, Ryan Seacrest, Kyle Petty, and Taylor Swift.

I love fishing!  It is my favorite hobby.

I love to laugh.  Laughing makes everything better.

I have lived in a lot of different places.

My favorite books are Harry Potter, The Tale of Despereaux, Walk Two Moons, The BFG,  Lily's Purple PLastic Purse, The Giving Tree, Hooway for Wodney Wat, Amelia Bedilia, Poppy (I could go on and on!  I love to read!)

I used to be on the radio when I was in college and I used to be a softball coach.

I went camping this summer.  It's my new favorite thing to do :)

I have a Bearded Dragon named Amelia and a Gecko named Violet in my classroom.  They are awesome!
