Brain Binders
Each student in our class keeps their own personal portfolio, or Brain Binder. These data binders encourage students to reflect upon strengths and weak areas. Each week we graph test scores in Math (each unit) and Language Arts. Students do the work and are in charge! Management took a while to get a hsndle on, but the payoff is worth it! Students get to show off their Brain Binders at Student-Led Conferences in the Spring.
Each binder has 4 sections:
