Hi, I'm Kate Englebert. I have my BA in Theatre Education from UNC-Charlotte.  I am originally from Olin, NC located north of Statesville.  I love to explore all aspects of life, and I get very excited about trying new things.  I spend much of my time in the theatre, so watching, directing, stage managing or even acting is plays is a passion of mine. When I'm not in the theatre or in the classroom, I love to  travel, hike or camp.  My family and friends are very important to me, and I enjoy hanging out with them. This is my third year teaching and I am enjoying every minute of it!  It has been a pleasure to meet and work with all of the wonderful students at Lyle Creek and Oxford.  I feel extremely lucky to have started my career here in Catawba county.
