Hello!  I'm Mr. Gabriel and I teach Language Arts at Mill Creek Middle School.  This is my 5th year at Mill Creek Middle School and my 13th year in teaching.  I grew up in Catawba County where I graduated from Bandys High School in 1990.  After graduation I attended Montreat College on a basketball scholarship.  During my junior year I transferred to Western Carolina where I played 1 more year of basketball.  I coach at Mallard Creek High School, AAU basketball and coach golf here at Mill Creek. 

I have a beautiful wife, Natalie Howard Gabriel, and three awesome kids.  My oldest son, Taylor, recently graduated from the Air Force basic training and is stationed in Barksdale, LA.  My son, Jackson, is 11 and attends Balls Creek Elementary and is very active in basketball and football.  I have a precious little girl, Karley, who attends Balls Creek Elementary and has her mother's beautiful features and is full of energy and life.  I am a family oriented person and enjoy vacationing and spending time playing in the yard.
