Directions to MCMS

From Lincolnton to MCMS

  • Travel Buffalo Shoals Road from Lincolnton until you reach Hwy. 16 at Drum's Crossroads (you will see Drum's Restaurant)

  • Cross Hwy. 16 and continue on Buffalo Shoals Road

  • Go straight through the caution light at Bandys High School

  • Take the 1st road to the left, SHILOH ROAD, you will see a small white church on the corner called Ebenezer Lutheran.

  • The school is on the left just after you turn on to Shiloh Road


From Newton to MCMS

  • At the intersection of Highways 16, 10, and 321 in Newton (landmarks include Western Steer and Burger King), turn onto Highway 10 East.

  • Once you get through Newton, the road will fork.  Go left and stay on Highway 10 (landmarks:  You'll be on the backside of Food Lion and Dollar General).

  • Continue on Highway 10 through 2 stoplights (Mt. Olive intersection and Witherspoon Crossroads).

  • Continue on Highway 10.  You will pass McGee Accounting on the right (their sign looks like a tombstone.)

  • The road immediately next to that building is Balls Creek Road.  Keep going straight on Hwy.10.

  • Take the next road to the right--Shiloh Road.  Keep going straight and MCMS is on the right at the end of Shiloh Road.

  • If you pass Piney Woods Quick Stop on Hwy. 10, you have gone too far.


From Hickory to MCMS

  • Get on to I-40 East toward Statesville.

  • Go to Exit 135--which is the exit for Claremont

  • At the end of the exit ramp turn right.

  • Go about 3/4 mile to the 1st traffic light, turn left.

  • Go about 1/2 mile to 1st traffic light, turn right on to Depot Street but it will turn in to Bethany Church Road.

  • You will travel on this road for about 2 miles.  It will go from the town of Claremont, over the railroad tracks then out into country farmland.  You will go through a couple of sizable curves.   After the second of those curves, at about the 2 mile mark, look for Boggs Road on your left.  Turn left.

  • You will travel to the end of Boggs Road (about 2.5 miles)

  • At the stop sign at the end of Boggs Road, turn left on to Hwy. 10

  • You will go about .5 miles to Shiloh Road on the right.  There is a sign there indicating the directions to Bandys High and MCMS.  Turn right there.

  • You will travel to the end of Shiloh Road.  Immediately before the end of Shiloh Road, you will see MCMS on the right.


From Winston Area to MCMS

  • Get on I-40 West toward Hickory.

  • Go to exit 135--which is the Claremont exit.

  • At end of exit ramp--turn left.
