Media Center

Welcome to Mill Creek's Media Center! It is open Monday thru Friday from 7:45 am until 3:15 pm.  If you need to stay after school to work on a project or do research, Mrs. Hilderbran will work with you to have the Media Center open after school to accommodate your needs.  We operate on a flexible schedule, which allows all classes and students a greater opportunity to utilize the Media Center's materials and resources. 

Currently, there are 8,146 books in the collection.  Students may check out 2 books at a time or 3 if needed for a report.  Reference books, encyclopedias, and dictionaries may be checked out overnight so the student may have access to more information needed to complete the assignment.  Magazines may be checked out by students overnight.

Mrs. Hilderbran , the Media Coordinator, has worked at West Junior High School in Alexander County for 5 years, at South Newton Elementary School for 1 year, Sherrills Ford Elementary for 12 years, Catawba Intermediate for 2 years and Mill Creek for 9 years.
