Mrs. Paysour needs field trip permission forms and $1.00 for gas by Tuesday, May 22nd!
Next meeting:
Field Trip on Thursday, May 24th
Eat at Mooses in Lincolnton at 3:30pm
Movie the Avengers approximately at 6:30 or 7:00pm
Leave right after school by 3:15pm.
Members need to make sure they bring enough money for food ($8.53 plus tip) and movie ($6.00 plus drink and popcorn)

Students who wish to apply to be in the Art Club must first get an application form from Mrs. Paysour or on the bullentin board in front of the cafeteria. Then fill application out and receive 3 Teacher recommendations and turn it in to Mrs. Paysour.
Announcements will be made within the week of Sept. 5th-9th or 12th-16th when to start picking up applications. Students are to listen for announcements when the applications are out. Mrs. Paysour will only accept 30-35 students to be in the club. All applicants must have Art class either 1st or 2nd semester to apply for club. Mrs. Paysour will then have a deadline and then 2 days later post list of new 2011/2012 Art Club on her door and the bullentin board across from the cafeteria before first club day. Good luck!
Membership Qualifications
Art Club is made up of 7th and 8th grade students who have art class either first or second semester each year. Members are recommended by three teachers and choosen by Mrs. Paysour based upon recommendations of 30-35 members.
Requirements once a member:
* Sign membership contract
1) No suspensions of ISS or OSS of all day.
2). Can not miss but 3 meetings which are during school once a month
* Membership Fee $5.00
* Shirts (optional) $12.00
plus any field trips taken, usually Art Club travels to the "Renaissance Festival" in October.
