This web site has information about the program and upcoming events to help parents and cadets navigate the AFJROTC program at Maiden High School.  If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact Lt Colonel Steward (eric_steward@catawbaschools.net) or Master Sergeant Stone (henry_stone@catawbaschools.net)

First:  we ask all to realize that AFJROTC is more than just a class--it is a program.  What that means is AFJROTC provides more than just information to the student, it provides a place to learn and experience leadership in the corps, the school, and the community--that is why we refer to your student as a CADET not simply a student.

Second:  we expect a high level of maturity and courtesy since cadets lead the class.  The longer a cadet stays in class and participates in the program, the more positions of responsibility he or she can expect.  From leading the class to achieve academic and physical results to planning trips away from Maiden, cadets are in charge.

Third:  we DO things!!! We have a drill team, honor guard, a rocketry club and numerous afterschool events to promote leadership and community service.
