HI! I am Ellen Fountain and I will be your child's 7th grade language arts teacher this year. I am very excited about this new school year. I previously (until last school year) taught 7th grade social studies. The move to language arts was terrific change in my teaching career! I grew up in Surry County (Mt. Airy) and attended college at Lenoir-Rhyne College (BA degree) and Appalachian State University (MA).
I live in the Banoak School district and am married with two children who attend Blackburn Elementary School. Our family enjoys exercising together, traveling, watching movies, reading, and just spending time together. My husband is the IT coordinator at CVCC and is my "techno expert".
