 Mrs. Clemons

Shannon Clemons works in the Guidance Department at Foard.  She graduated from NC State University in 1995 with a degree in Education.  She also graduated with a masters in Counseling from Lenoir Rhyne.  Before coming to Foard, she worked as a teacher and counselor at Gateway Alternative School in Caldwell County for 7 years.  Also, she was a counselor at Hibriten High for 3 years.

She is very involved at her church, Maiden Chapel Baptist Church.  She also works with the Youth Ministry and in Church Administration.  She likes to read, and spend time with family and friends.  When asked what she likes most about Foard she replied, "Foard is student centered.  Student success is a priority.  That's important to me because I believe all students can be successful, but it takes everyone involved working together."

Cheryl Lattimore is in the guidance department and serves as a counselor. She attended Western Carolina University and graduated in 1976.  She obtained her counseling masters degree from the University of Hawaii in 1987.  Before working at Foard she worked at Crest Middle School during the 2006-07 school year.  Also she worked at Terry Sanford High School in Fayetteville for 5 years.
 
Ms. Lattimore likes to read Christian fiction and take long walks with her dog, Charlie.  She is married to a retired Army helicopter pilot.  They do not have children so her two dogs are very spoiled!
 
When asked what she liked most about Foard, she replied "Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.  Students are respectful and eager to succeed."

Carrie Carter attended Lenoir-Rhyne College and received received a B.A. in Human & Community Services in 2006. She will graduate with a masters in community counseling with school licensure from Lenoir Rhyne in December 2008. Before beginning work at Foard, Ms. Carter worked Intensive In-Home Services at Family NET. Ms. Carter is a counselor at Foard and enjoys working with the great students and faculty.

In her free time Ms. Carter enjoys working out, reading, spending time with family and friends, and watching Carolina basketball.
