Clyde Campbell Elementary School serves children in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade.  It is located off of Springs Road in Northeast Hickory.  There are more than 500 students enrolled at our school.  We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.  We were a North Carolina School of Excellence showing exemplary growth for the 2002 - 2003 school year.
    The community served by our school is a diverse one, but one which realizes and values the importance of education.  The teachers are wonderful and caring and do an outstanding job.  We strive to teach respect, responsibility, and pride in ourselves and our community.
    Many incentives are offered to our children to encourage reading, academic excellence, and attendance. 
    Our school houses a Community Schools Program, which provides before and after-school care for our children.  This is a great service to our many working parents.
    Besides an active Parent Teacher Organization, we have a number of parent volunteers and many resource people from outside our school community who add much to the total education of our children.

 

All visitors must report to the office to sign our school log prior to visiting or volunteering in the classrooms. Badges will be issued for identifying our visitors and volunteers. This is for your child's safety and to limit classroom interruptions.
