It's time for First Grade.  This year will be full of exciting events for your child.  There will be a continued focus on learning to write letters and numbers properly.  Your child will further develop their reading and math skills as well.  For a complete curriculum overview, you may visit

There are many curriculum based field trips tentatively scheduled during the First Grade year.  These field trips may include a trip to an apple orchard, Lazy 5 Ranch, and the Hickory Science Center.
