Earning Opportunities!

This year, Claremont Elementary School will again participate in several community programs.  Box Tops for Education, Tyson’s Project A+, Campbell’s Labels for Education, Office Depot Cash Back, Firehouse Subs Spirit Nights and recycling ink cartridges and cell phones, all offer an easy way for our school to earn extra money.  Last year, our school received a combined amount close to $1,400 from these organizations!  This money went towards the purchase of books, Accelerated Reader tests, new gym equipment, and student incentives and rewards.  The process is very simple and we know you can do it! 

-             For Box Tops, Tyson’s, and Campbell’s, any time you, a family member, or friend purchase any of the products listed below, simply look on the packaging and find the education label.  Just clip and send to school with your child.

-             To participate in the Office Depot 5% Cash Back Program, please give the cashier our 8-digit school code each time you make a purchase.  5% of the total sales will be given back to the school on a gift card.   

-        Take advantage of our Spirit Nights at Firehouse Subs in Hickory on highway 127 on the 3rd Thursday of each month.  Enjoy a delicious supper and at the same time give back 10% of your total meal price to our school!

-             To recycle your ink cartridges and old cell phones, please send them to the media center with your child.  We accept all types of cartridges and cell phones!  Please also consider asking your family members and places of business to donate theirs too.   

BOXTOPS/GENERAL MILLS
All General Mills cereals, Betty Crocker, Yoplait, Lloyd’s Barbeque and Kleenex products have the box tops.  Examples: Pancake, cookie, brownie, salad and hamburger helper mixes. For more information, please check out their website at www.boxtops4education.com

Prego, Pace, FrancoAmerican, V-8 juices, Swanson, Pepperidge Farms and Campbell’s Soups all have the educational label on them.
