Welcome to Challenger Early College High School where every student graduating ready for college, careers, and life in the 21st Century is standard.  Our learning environment is purposefully designed to get each student ready for college and careers through a culture of powerful teaching and learning, redefined professionalism, leadership, and personalization.   

 

 Public Information Sessions for Prospective Students and Families

 

Current 8th Grade Students and Parents are invited to attend

ublic Information Sessions concerning the school and application process for Challenger Early College High School.

Participating 8th Grade Schools:  Catawba County Schools,
Hickory City Schools, Newton-Conover City Schools, Alexander County Schools, Private Schools and Home Schools

2012 Public Information Sessions

Monday, January 30 at the CVCC Tarlton Complex Gymnasium at 6:00pm
Thursday, February 2 at the River Bend Middle School Cafeteria at 6:00pm
Thursday, February 9 at the Maiden High School Auditorium at 6:00pm

 Information about the school and 2012 application packets will be available at each Public Information Session.  Current early college students will be on hand along with CHS parents, staff members, and administrators to discuss the school and answer questions.

 All sessions are open to the public.  Please pick ONE of the public meetings above.  Application checklist and all documents can be found on the Challenger Early College website.  Applications for the 9th-grade class are due to CHS by 5:00 p.m. on March 1st .
