My name is Kurt Sigmon.  I am a native of Claremont and a 1987 graduate of Bunker Hill High School.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Secondary Education from Appalachian State University in 1991.

I have been teaching at Bunker Hill High School since the 1994-1995 school year. Currently, I teach Geometry, Honors Geometry, and Yearbook Journalism.

I received my certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in November, 2008.

My wife is also a teacher.  She teaches social studies at St. Stephens High School.
