Lt Col Hall was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1960.  He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University of Kentucky in 1983, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky in 1985.  In 1985, he was directly commissioned into the United States Air Force as a Medical Service Corps Officer.  Lt Col Hall is also a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

 

Upon completion of the Health Services Administration course in 1985, he reported to Eglin Air Force Base, Florida as a Medical Logistics Intern.  He moved to Edwards Air Force Base, California in 1986, where he was the Director, Medical Logistics Management.  In 1990, he reported to Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina.  During this assignment, he was the Director of Medical Logistics Management and then transitioned to become the Director of Resource Management.  In 1992, he was assigned to Brooks Air Force Base, Texas as Medical Logistics and Contracting fellow with Headquarters Air Force Medical Support Agency.  After completing the fellowship, he reported to the 59th Medical Wing, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in 1993 and held the position of Chief of Managed Care Contracting.  The year 1997 was highlighted by his selection as the new Clinic Administrator, 65th Medical Group, Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal.  In 1998, he transitioned to TRICARE, Mid-Atlantic, Region 2 as an Operations Officer, and then Department Head of Operations.  In 2000, Lt Col Hall assumed command of the 22d Medical Support Squadron at McConnell AFB, Kansas and in Jun 2003, Lt Col Hall took command of the 377d Medical Support Squadron, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico.

 

His military decorations include the DoD Meritorious Service Medal (MSM); the AF MSM with three oak leaf clusters; the AF Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster; the National Defense Service Medal; Air Force Longevity Service Award (one oak leaf cluster), and the Air Force Training Ribbon.

 

Lt Col Hall has completed Squadron Officer’s School (in residence), Air Command and Staff College (correspondence) and Air War College (seminar).

 

Lt Col Hall’s wife Cathy hails from Prince George County, Virginia.  They have four daughters, Shannon, Casey, Samantha, and Kimi, and two sons, Roger and Nicky.

 

Lt Col Hall Retired in 2005 after completing 20 years of service.
