Problem 5 (Chemistry of Matter)

Begins on April 18:  Kids will be creating a Matter Children's Book to read and teach a class on Matter, chemistry to MS or Upper Elementary students.

1st test on Ch 16 & 17 on April 27.

Project #1:  Timeline for Book: 

April 30: 1st Draft of text to be completed.

May 3: 2nd draft and corrections due. 

May 11:  Completed Book with drawings due

2nd Test on Ch 18-19 on May 4.

3rd test on Ch 20-21 on May 15.

Extra Credit Project:  Atom Model and PowerPoint Due May 18. 

(This project  is an individual one.)

Extra Credit Project:  Nuclear chemistry:  Pamplet on the dangers of Nuclear radiation in the accidents involving nuclear accidents i.e. Chernobyl in Russia, the Earthquake in Japan, March 2011 Nuclear accident, and 3 Mile Island in the US
