In both Spanish I and Spanish II, the chapter quizzes are set up the same way. The 1st quiz will be matching, true/false, a/b/c answers, word banks, etc. The answers you need will all be somewhere on the test. The second quiz, on the other hand, will be much harder. For it, you will have to pull the vocabulary word from your own memory. The words you need will NOT be on the page anywhere. You may have to identify pictures, fill in a blank, etc.
To study, the first day of the chapter use the flashcards you have made and study from the Spanish side to the English. You are basically "recognizing" the word. For example, cantar = ?.
For the second quiz, study your flashcards from the English side! For example, to write = ?. (Much harder!!)
Studying 15 minutes per night will absolutely raise your grades. Stay consistent and determined, and master that vocabulary! As always, if there is an area you don't understand, come by after school and get help...
