Research Tips
- take notes - don't copy and paste anything except for citation information
- check to see when the webpage was last updated
- utilize websites that are sponsored by professional organizations and institutions (look for website addresses ending in edu., .org or .gov)
- check the website for biasness
- use multiple formats for resources - print (books, journals, encylopedias), online databases, valid websites and professionals (people)
- do not procrastinate
