Volunteers Wanted for the 2010-2011 School Year!!
Do you have extra time on your hands?  We would love to have you volunteer in the media center.  Just call or send an email specifying the days and times that you would be available.  Your support and interest is appreciated.

Public Library
The Public Library offers a wealth of information.  They not only have tons of print resources but they offer access to some fantastic online resources.  You don't have to leave your house to access videos, ebooks, online magazines and other databases.  All that you need is a library card.  You can even apply for one online.  If you've lost your's, it's only a dollar to replace it.  Visit your library soon - online or in person.  We recently had a guest speaker from the public library talk to some of our Junior English classes about various resources that the public library offers that will help students succeed at school. http://www.co.catawba.nc.us/library/default.asp

Did you know?
Students can access the media center's catalog online.
Our students have access to Worldbook Online. (See Mrs. Porter for the password.)
We now have access to all of the books in the Catawba County School System.
