Veteran's Day Celebration

The AFJROTC Kitty Hawk Air Society of Bunker Hill High School participated in a Veteran’s Day appreciation event at Golden Corral on 16 Nov. 09. Several JROTC units celebrated and honored the veterans.  All of the military armed forces veterans attended this event.

Golden Corral gave the cadets a free meal for helping the veterans. The AFJROTC cadets showed the veterans hospitality, generosity, and thanks for serving our country. The cadets helped the veterans take their drinks to their tables. After the veterans were finished with their meals, the cadets would take the dirty dishes from the table. While helping the veterans, the cadets heard many interesting stories about their lives in the service. AFJROTC thanks the Golden Corral for inviting us to this event.
