​There will be a cheerleading information meeting on Monday, Mar 30, at 6 PM in the Bandys Media Center.​

  

CVCC will hold an information session for any current sophomore or junior and their parents/guardians about the college's Career & College Promise Program.  Career & College Promise offers qualified high school students the option to earn college credits tuition for free.  Students can begin their two- or four-year college work while they are in high school allowing them to get a head start on their workplace and college preparation.

The information session will be held on Thursday, April 16, at 5:30 pm in room 582 of the Dunbar Building. Sign-in will begin at 5:00 pm.

The last FREE NC Driving School begins on Tuesday, May 5! There are only 32 spaces available. Sign up in the main office now!​

  

Mr. Cinderfella, a womanless pageant, is scheduled for Thursday, Mar 26, at 7 PM in the BHS Cafeteria. Advance tickets are $5 and are currently on sale. Tickets at the door will be $7.

Try-out camp and auditions for the Bandys Color Guard will be held after school from Tuesday, Apr 14 - Friday, Apr 17 after school in the band room. If you are interested but have conflicts, contact Mr. Keisler.​

  

​The North Carolina American Legion Student Trooper Program is a week-long residential camp conducted at the NC Highway Patrol Training Center in Raleigh.  Attendees will participate in a wide variety of instructional sessions including firearm safety, drug detection, and precision driving. will participate in a wide variety of instructional sessions including firearm safety, drug detection, and precision driving.  Any current junior or senior interested in attending this camp sponsored by the NC  Highway Patrol and The American  Legion should contact a counselor by Friday, Apr 17. 

  

The prom committee will meet on Thursday, Mar 26, after school in Mrs. Staples' Rm 564.​

The Bandys High FFA Hunter Safety Teams competed in district competition on Saturday, Mar 21. The BHS Gold Team placed 1st and the BHS Green team placed 2nd out of 20 teams. Both teams have earned an invitation to state competition on April 25.

  

The Bandys High School Mixed Choir participated in the North Carolina Music Performance Adjudication on Friday, Mar 20. This is a statewide event where choirs are scored by 3 judges and given a rating. This year's Mixed Choir received a SUPERIOR rating on the performance of their prepared pieces. They also were tested on their sight-reading ability and scored a 97 out of 100. Congratulations to all of these students!
