We believe that:

-All students are unique and learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning.

-Student learning is the top priority of our school.

-Students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process.

-A safe, orderly, comfortable, and engaging environment promotes maximum student learning.

-Teachers, administrators, parents, and the community share the responsibility for advancing the school's mission and vision.

-Adolescence is a period of significant physical, social, and emotional change; therefore, this age student should be educated about those changes in a caring environment that builds self-confidence through self-awareness. 

-School is an inviting place that operates on mutual respect.

-The arts, humanities, technology and the advisor/advisee program are integral parts of the middle school concept.
